Yellow Postie – Great Card Service
Recently I’ve felt the need to be more in touch with people in Australia – family and all that! :-p
At any rate, buying nice cards here and posting them is an expensive process… and if you do it cheap, you get some very strange cards with odd messages. You know… the ones like this (borrowed from engrish.com because I refuse to buy them):
Anyway, I searched for this a few years ago and didn’t see the service, but now there is… finally!!! Enter Yellow Postie – I’ve used it a few times this year and have found it to be a real winner!
What do I love about it?
- Personalisation: It allows me to upload photos and customise text and layout
- Scheduling: It has the ability to schedule cards to be sent in the future… it’s like I’m travelling in time, but not!
- Variety: It has a number of card options so that I can select card faces to suit the occasion and recipient!
Sometimes I upload handwritten notes as jpg files to add further personalisation, and replace photo placeholders with my handwritten messages. I use Notability or a similar tool on my tablet, take a screen shot, then open on my Mac and convert it to jpg format (as the site only takes jpgs).
Check it out if you need to send cards to Australia – decent prices, starting from about A$4.20 including the postage. I believe they do international postage as well.
