Project 365 [Free iPhone apps iLike]

I love taking photos.

This app is like a daily diary of photos that I have taken, which becomes a bit of a memoir of what I have done over time.

If you install the free iPhone Flickr app, which allows you to download images from your Flickr account, then you can add other photos to the ones that you take with your iPhone to fill out the month.

For example, yesterday I didn’t take any photos with my iPhone, but I took a few with my camera, which will be uploaded to my Flickr account. I can then download them to my iPhone using the Flickr app, and add them to Project 365.

Why bother?

Because it’s a good way to show friends and it also allows me to upload to my Facebook account quite nicely.

Photoshop Mobile [Free iPhone apps iLike]

Didn’t get the best exposure on the last photo you took on your iPhone? Want to crop it a bit?

Want to convert it to black and white?

Features in Photoshop.Com mobile include:

- Crop, straighten, rotate and flip
- Adjust exposure, saturation, tint and contrast
- Apply filters such as sketch, soft focus and sharpen
- Add borders and other effects

In a mobile photo editing app, I find that I rarely need to go beyond this, and it’s a super photo editing staple.

Reflecting on HDB Living

Some days it’s just a question of having your camera and being there.

We were waiting for a door to be unlocked to put some borrowed drums back after the corporate job yesterday, and I noticed this reflection.

The light was fading fast so I decided to bolt for my camera (it was in my bag). I’m glad I did.

Loving PicLens! [Photo Browsing]

Piclens for picture browsing

I just installed the Firefox plugin Piclens, as I am often looking at photos on Facebook and Flickr, and I must say that it is the best way to look at Pics! Totally cool and beats scrolling through web pages!

If you don’t like waiting for loads of webpages to load when scrolling through photos on a number of supported sites, then you really need to get this addon! (It works in many browsers, not just Firefox – including Safari and Internet Explorer.)
