OzLady’s Ramblings

This was a quick, pleasant read, and while it is hard to convey the emotion of what developed between professor and student, to me it came across as overly sentimental. This is not to cheapen what happened – it is a deeply moving experience, and the depth of that emotion is difficult to convey.

I would recommend this book to those that like tales where we touch each other deeply as human beings. I guess I’m getting cynical in my old age, but I can imagine a lot of people sneering at the emotion in this book – and that in itself is sad.

A reflective read.
