Saying Thank-You

Thank YouI enjoy the company, companionship and sometimes the generosity of a lot of people as I travel, and one thing that my DH has taught me is the value of ‘thank you’.

It is not only good manners, but good for future relationship interaction –  people then know that you don’t take them for granted, that they are appreciated. I was reminded of this today reading this article – Etiquette – Give Thanks with an Appreciative Note – however I usually find that having a stock of Thank You cards works well. A thank you note doesn’t have to be a work of art, but it does have to be penned with some thought, and shows that you have taken time out of your day to think of the person. I would suggest a hand-written note or card, as it always says more than a typed message.

However in this case I will make an exception, as this is a general thank-you from my blog… I would like to say thank you to all of you for reading my blog, and visiting. It is appreciated and I try to get to all of yours.
