Call Me Mummy Big Bucks

How much is your blog worth? It’s all just theory, I know that, however there is a link on my page that states how much my blog is worth. It’s probably not much compared to others, especially given how busy I’ve been lately, however I was surprised that in 3 months the supposed “value” of my blog had increased so dramatically (32%)!

I have been adding content, visiting and being visited more over the last three months compared with the year before that, and this calculation is based on linking and popularity with other bloggers (you can read more about it here). Well done, me!

But I’m dying to know – how much is your blog worth?

I like that little greeting you have at the top. In fact I like the whole look of you page it is very professional.

I have an award over at my place for you. I will have to check how much my blog is worth. What’s it worth to who?

David – you’re way too kind. I’m still hunting down a copy of your first novel, which I will buy in Sydney in December if I can’t find it before then!

Craver – it’s based on some calculations from Technorati, and basically it is based on how many people link to you. I think there is a more detailed explanation on the site itself. Also, it’s just a theory! Well done on $25K – people must really like what you write! We should be asking you what your secret is!!!

In terms of find out more about making money online, I’ve been reading Working at Home on the Internet and sites like this. I don’t apply those principles here, as this is a different type of blog, however it has some techniques and links to get you started.

Good luck!

Cuckoo – I’m going to look at re-adding that when more people upgrade their browsers. Unfortunately there are a number of people who cannot use the preview, or it destroys the presentation of my site when they use it because they are using older browsers. *sigh*

Cuckoo – :p Yes I know the code can be changed, but anyone can double check it as welll! I’m not surprised that yours is higher than mine – you have a lot of loyal readers!

Me, I’d put the value of this blog much higher than that, Steph. Great to see the upswing!

Promise to visit every day when I’ve completed this novel.

I’m curious to know exactly what factors go into his formula. If the value of a thing is determined by how much another party is willing to pay for it? How do I cash in on the $25,404.30 that my blog is allegedly worth?

If I decided to sell ad space or whatever anyone would be willing to pay for, would I really get 25k? If so, how much could I get if I chose to do this as a full-time job?

I would love to hear from anyone who gets paid for blogging. What kind of numbers might we expect if we were looking to blog for bucks?

And finally, is there anyone who’s blog is “worth” X-amount of money who actually collects that amount?

Just one request…

Can you pls enable the ‘preview of comments’ here ? Sometimes, specially when I add a link, I would like to see the preview before posting my comments.

Merci d’avance.

Thanks in advance !! :D

Ohh that’s a fake Steph. One can change the value there. It’s a static code.
Read one of my posts about it how a blogger changed it to show her blog worth of millions.

BTW, just checked worth of my blog for you .. It is worth $33,872.40.
