Singapore Trivia

CrowdThe first population census taken in 1824 revealed that the total population was 10,683. The 2000 census showed that the population of Singapore is 4.2 million.

Not bad for an island that has a total land area of only 682.7 square kilometres.

Singapore would fit into Sydney’s 4000 square kilometres (metropolitan Sydney) almost 6 times. (AND Sydney has about the same population as Singapore – so you can imagine how tightly packed it is here.)

It’s like putting a familiar object in the frame of a photo to give the idea of a scale. I’ve seen you do that before with the photo of your roses in your garden.

Thanks for the well wishes!

Sahil – thanks for the enquiry – this flu put me out for 4 days. :p

I’m still a bit off today and have absolutely no appetite. I’ve often heard that to lose weight you need to get sick! *kidding*

Thanks again!
