Bukit Merah Road, just near Ikea, is home to Alexander Village – and surrounding that is a nest of car workshops.
If you need your car repaired, serviced, resprayed, accessorised, or just want to change the tires, then if you live in the West of Singapore, this area is not a bad place to go. Entry is from Alexandra Road (heading away from Ikea and towards Vicocity).
There are a number of shop houses which offer car accessories, banking, food and many other places to browse while you wait for your car to be repaired or serviced… or pop across the road to the Queensway Shopping Centre to pick up some cool runners, or around the corner to Ikea.
For expats with no talent for language (like me), I find these guys amusing and quite easy to deal with. Take your pick of workshop… oh, and if you’re into motorbikes (aka ‘moto’), then you can see a lot of them here!
If you have an accident, however, go to Song Autoservice (aka 3A Automotive Pte Ltd) – he’s at 01-23, Bukit Merah Lane 3 – cheap AND good!
