As most know, there have been massive earthquakes and natural disasters in the countries surrounding Singapore. (Donate to Red Cross if you wish to assist – IMO this is probably the most effective way to support victims).
At any rate, the Singapore National Environment Agency posts updates on the shakes that hit Singapore within minutes of them occurring.

We are closer to the fault lines than I thought, but fortunately our position in relation to other countries has protected us so far. Poor Philippines and Indonesia, however. 🙁
